Jeanne O’Donnell has served as the Sr Operations Manager, Talent and HR Service Center in the Human Resource Office for the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School since January 2021. Prior to this role, she has held numerous talent and onboarding roles since she started with the University in April 2016. Prior to joining UMMS, O’Donnell worked within Talent Acquisition teams within both healthcare and Finance industries. O’Donnell has more than 20 years of Staffing Operations experience, and holds a Social Work Degree from Rhode Island College.

Barbara Guertin has served as Executive Recruiter on the Talent Acquisition and Employee Engagement Team for the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School since January 2020. Prior to joining the Talent Acquisition and Engagement Team, Guertin served as a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant for UMass Memorial Medical Center. Guertin's experience prior to UMMS was a variety of talent manager and executive recruitment positions in the healthcare, biotech and medical device fields. Guertin holds a BA in Liberal Arts and Theater Arts from Rutgers University and an MBA from Fitchburg State University (expected 2020).

Viji Dinakaran has served as Sr. Talent Specialist on the Talent Acquisition and Employee Engagement Team for the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School since July 2019, and has been with the team in various talent roles for over 6 years. Prior to joining UMass Chan, Viji served as the Assistant Manager of Human Resources for Ajuba Solutions in India. Viji has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from the Ethiraj College for Women, India, and a Master of Arts (MA) in Human Resources Management from the Madras School of Social Work, India.
Anna Thomen, MA

Anna Thomen has served as Talent Specialist II on the Talent Acquisition and Employee Engagement Team in the Human Resources Office of Employee Relations for the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School since August 2017. Prior to joining UMass Chan, Thomen served as Human Resources Coordinator for Heywood Healthcare. She has also held a number of account and client manager positions. Thomen holds an MA in Mass Communication from the University of Hartford.

Amanda Gonzalez has served as Senior Talent Associate on the Talent Acquisition and Employee Engagement Team for the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School since November 2019. Prior to joining UMass Chan, Gonzalez served in a number of recruitment roles for various companies. She also owns her own photography business - Amanda Lee Photography. Gonzalez holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Visual Arts from the College of Holy Cross and is an active spokeswoman for the American Heart Association.
Bonnie Kumar

Bonnie Kumar has served as the Human Resources Manager, in the Human Resources Office of Employee Relations for the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School since March of 2016, prior to that she was the Recruiting Manager at MassBiologics. In this role, she brings extensive experience in Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Education and Training along with Customer Care. Prior to joining UMass Chan, Bonnie was a National Dentist Recruiter responsible for the full life cycle recruiting for 9 different states. Bonnie has over 10 years of Talent Acquisition and Employee Relations experience and holds a Bachelors Degree in Neuroscience from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
