About Us
The Univeristy of Massachusetts Chan Medical School - Office of Continuing Medical Education (OCME) is proud of its ability to competently develop and implement quality educational offerings for our learner audience, which are consistent with institutional goals, ACCME standards and AAMC guidelines. These educational offerings are developed with input from UMMC faculty, medical experts from other academic medical centers, review of relevant medical journals, and the feedback received from program attendees. Educational programs are designed to reflect the results of peer reviewed clinical research and best practices that have been published by reputable medical associations. American Heart Association, American College of Chest Physicians, and the American College of Emergency Physicians are examples.
The UMass Chan Medical School - Office of Continuing Medical Education, provides a range of educational conferences for practicing physicians and allied health professionals located throughout the country. The practice of medicine is ever-evolving, and our continuing education programs enable physicians to improve their skills and stay current to ensure they provide superior medical care to their patients.
