Our Gastroenterology Division is a specialty involved in preventing, diagnosing, and treating diseases of the luminal GI tract (esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon and rectum) liver, gallbladder and pancreas.

The Gastroenterology Division at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School is dedicated to excellence in patient care, research and medical education. Our staff is committed to providing the highest quality of care to individuals as well as to the community. We strive to advance patient care through excellence in clinical, basic and translational research, and to educate future health care professionals. The high standards set by the division and the scope of services available ensure that patients will receive the best care possible for a wide variety of gastrointestinal and liver diseases.
