    Why UMMS?: Supportive atmosphere with personable attendings, excellent clinical exposure and awesome co-residents. The leadership has our best interests in mind and constantly strives for improvement.

    Why UMMS?: UMass Medical School had everything I was looking for in a residency program. On interview day I realized how family-like the residents in the program were, and they offered a lot of advice and support during and after the interview. The program has a commitment to exposing residents to as many unique scenarios as possible, and because of this, residents graduate well-rounded and equipped to pursue fellowships or transition to practice.

    Why UMMS?: I chose UMass Medical School for exposure to difficult and critical patients seen at a Level 1 Trauma center. As a resident it’s a great experience to learn how to manage difficult cases early in the start of your training.

    Why UMMS?: I was looking for somewhere to train where I would leave feeling confident to practice as an attending at any type of institution while still feeling like I was part of a family. I’m also from New England and love being able to still call New England home and be close to family!
