Rivera Lab

Rivera Lab GroupOur laboratory aims to elucidate how molecular imprints are translated into the tri-dimensional shape of the mammalian embryo. To achieve this goal, we employ a wide variety of embryological, cellular, molecular and genetic approaches to understand the development of the mouse embryo. We believe that knowledge of the basic mechanisms that guide cells and tissues during early embryogenesis is paramount not only to understand normal and abnormal mammalian development but also for the advancement of other research fields that include cancer and the biology of pluripotent cells.
